Connecting With Dolphins & Whales As Soul Medicine
I HAVE HAD DOLPHINS AND WHALES (CETACEANS) POP IN AND OUT OF MY LIFE SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL. EVERY TIME THEY ENTER INTO MY LIFE AS A STRONG ANIMAL TOTEM, I KNOW SOMETHING MASSIVE & MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN.
When I was a little girl my parents took me to see an Orca in captivity. It was my first major wake-up call to the knowingness that I was highly empathic, that I had abilities to communicate with Nature, and that Pachamama would be a very helpful Guide for me in learning to navigate the emotional road ahead being a watery Cancerian.
I felt even bit of pain that beautiful creature felt - trapped, confused, powerless, and unable to understand why people thought so highly of me when no matter how hard I tried to fit in my cage, I just kept running into walls.
Needless to say this also woke me up to the massive suffering of animals in captivity and I haven't been able to visit a zoo or theme park since.
The next time Cetaceans came into my life in a BIG way was when I had found "spirituality" out of desperation in my 20's when I was possibly at the lowest I had ever been.
I was wandering the streets of Portland, OR and found myself in Powell's Bookstore and went home with a book called The Journey of the Pink Dolphin.
That book inspired me to finish my bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, which led me to living/"studying" on the OR Coast (P.S. II have lived on the coast ever since my mid-20's as a result).
The Marine Biology journey led me to Ecuador to work on a dive project with Manta Rays, turtles, and sharks, to a town where a large population of Humpback Whales from the Southern Hemisphere came to every year to breed and have their babies!
I will never forget the first time I saw 2 adult whales jump clear out of the water in front of our boat. The rush, the excitement, the absolute power and wonder of that moment will forever be sketched on my heart.
The next time these magnificent creatures came into my life was when I was considering the move to Mexico from Oregon. I literally began to dream about having my babies grow up on the beaches in Mexico, whales and dolphins were in almost every dream I had with this vision of my Mexico beach-babies. I dreamt of owning a boat in Mexico, and free-diving for my dinner in warm waters! (All but the free-diving part has come to pass!)
I am so grateful for the guidance these beautiful creatures have given me, and want to share about my current work with this Animal Medicine!
I had been walking the beach everyday in December, waiting for the whales to reveal themselves to me (Humpback whales come to Baja November-March to breed and have their babies, and it is not uncommon to see them spout, or jump from shore).
Anyway, I had been calling them in, and finally on January 1st, the first Mama Humback and her baby showed up for me. I spent nearly an hour watching them roll, jump, and play in the water.
When I began to create the materials for February's theme of Embodied Joy, Pleasure, Freedom & Ecstasy inside the Portal - I was so excited when I saw that the whales and dolphins wanted to come in!
I began asking them what they wanted to show me/us in regards to this theme... some of the messages were quite obvious - more play, living for joy, sexual energy, patience, taking up space, and tapping into our inner wisdom.
But as I continued to listen to the medicine these Beings, I learned so much more about how to use their medicine to create real, impactful, integrated embodiment of JOY, PLEASURE, FREEDOM, & ECSTASY.
They are incredible teachers for us humans right now - they embody so much of the language of light that is here for us now, and 100% available for us to use it for our own consciousness evolution.
They are the wisdom keepers of the Universe. Connecting with them can help you release trauma from this lifetime and past lifetimes. They will also help you re-connect with the energy of the pure light-Being that is your Inner Child.
They are masters of breathe (our gateway to healing, multi-dimensional living, and moving energy).
They thrive in the deep waters of emotion (our superpowers as Souls in human bodies).
They dance with the wisdom of sound and vibration (powerful Universal medicine to all of us that heals us at a cellular level).
...and so much more which I will share inside the Portal throughout the month of February as we explore the theme of Embodied Joy, Pleasure, Freedom, and Ecstasy!
